Re: Determining Distance Visually

I'm okay at judging length below a foot, on account of an engineering curriculum involving a decent amount of precision machining. That's mostly a matter of having spent many hours working with specifically-sized drill bits and so forth, so I have a really solid sense of what various fractions of inches look like.

Otherwise, I'm not very good at all. I'm utterly terrible at parallel parking, because I have no idea how close I am to either car or the curb.
