I live in the UK so I never know when the post is supposed to come up in my time zone and I'm always late.

In which case, let me help. In your timezone, on weekdays, the post currently goes up somewhere between 11.30pm and 1am. On weekends, the post goes up up three hours earlier, so usually around 9pm. So there. Aaaand you can always get email notifications for when the post comes up if you have an account?

Anyone have a tutorial on how to desaturate (or turn black and white) all the colors (or color range) in a GIF but one (in photoshop)? Or to make one color stand out a lot. I have sort of figured out a way to do it, but it is overly complicated and doesn’t really highlight all of the color.

Tumblr and Google have not helped me.

I think I can help!

Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation.
Click on the dropdown menu that says "Master" and select a color you don't want.
Drag the saturation slider to -100.
Repeat for all other colors you don't want.

Sounds like something you'd need to do layers with. Have a grayscale layer and then a layer that is just the colored thing you want...for every frame.

Have fun with that.

If it comes to that, I'll just choose a shorter GIF. I only need to make 6 and I'll probably never do it again. And it can't be worse than when I used to sharpen each frame by hand.

Color range select, selection invertion, hue/saturation slide down?
You can always automate repeated actions.
