The glasses make me think Darcy from Thor, but I'm not sure she fits the rest of the secret.

I don't think she's a background character. Not a major protag, but not background either. Interestingly, I also thought of her, but maybe only because f!s has pointed out her glasses before...and I don't think it's her, anyway.
