Depends on what you mean by "a lot", I suppose. I write a fair amount of non-fiction; apart from that, I scribble fanfic and meta in my leisure time, but that's not much and I mostly began doing that because there was no one else who'd write for my fandoms. If not for the lack of Rivers of London/Catch-22/Murder Rooms fic, I guess I'd have never started writing at all, especially since back then I had little idea how u rite anything that is neither a research paper nor an academic essay.

Still, I'm glad that I did start, and I find myself liking the process.

That is most definitely a lot of writing. I haven't read any of your canon, but what academic field do you work in?

I'd rather not say (am kind of paranoid), but it's biology-related. Plus, my future prospects are closely tied to forensics.
