Aw yeah, I love that stuff. Have you seen the idea doing the rounds on tumblr, anon? For an AU where everything is black and white until you meet your soulmate, and then when your soulmate dies, the world goes back to black and white.

I've come across it in fic before, but it isn't my favourite idea. Despite my love for this trope, I'm not keen on worlds where a soulmate literally completes you in some way, or you're damaged by not having found them. I get very truculent about the whole thing!

Same. People who hold this concept IRL also drive me batty. (Or try to fix me up. Usually with disastrous results.)
