I find Katie Cassidy very hard to recognize in different roles. If I didn't KNOW it, I never would have guessed Laurel Lance was the same actress on Arrow. Because I just don't see it. Or hear it. She even sounds different.

I got bored with Arrow even though part of me wants to give it another chance. Have you ever watched Harper's Island? it's only 13 episodes (iirc) and is a murder mystery.

I loved Harper's Island! She was good in that. (So was my boo from Covert Affairs. Damn me for deleting my Auggie icon...)

I didn't recognize her in this picture either, though. She really does look like an entirely different person with short hair.

Man, I can get this. Before I became a weirdo who tends not to like TV shows and movies, I would get super excited about any show or movie that starred actors from other shows/movies that I really liked.

I think this is a totally normal and valid response. And I hope that the movie turns out good so that you can better geek out.

Aww, I really like this secret. I feel the same way, OP. I can't wait for this movie because I'm a big Katie Cassidy and Eliza Dusku fan.

Also I'm super nervous about how this thread is going to go. I'm not looking forward to a certain faction of the Arrow fandom coming in and spewing their KC hate and false rumors all over this lovely secret like they spew in every single Katie related tag on tumblr. The way she is treated makes me so sad. She's such a sweet, positive person irl and a great actress (and tbh Laurel was the only character I liked on that hot mess of a show) and she doesn't deserve the poison that people throw at her.
