Let's take it down bit by bit.
1) "Jews control --" nope. Are there a lot of Jews in positions of influence in Hollywood, the news industry, et cetera? Yes, there are, that's a verifiable fact. But the entire notion behind the "Jews control the media" is built on the idea that there's some kind of Jewish cabal working behind the scenes and they're all in cahoots with one another. This is patent bullshit. There is no "Jewish control" over the media or any other area. Many of them are in their respective businesses because they had nowhere else to go, or they inherited from parents or grandparents who faced that problem. Look how many Jewish-owned legal firms there are. A lot of them were formed because Jewish lawyers were barred from working for existing firms, so they started their own. And now the Jewish firms are respected and have a lot of history while those other firms are mostly gone.
2) The only conflict it's engaged in viewed as heroic? What about the Civil War? Oh, right, you're a racist shitfuck and you don't think that counts.
A lot of people in the States didn't want to get involved in the war against Germany, feeling it wasn't really our problem (not to mention the strong German-American population, especially in the Midwest.) There was a very strong isolationist movement in the US at the time, and FDR's attempts to enter the war were largely fruitless until Pearl Harbor.
3) You're contradicting yourself here. Which is it? Is it the Jews convincing America that Germans are evil, or is it out of American self-righteousness? You have to pick one, because one assumes that Jews are master propagandists and the other assumes that Americans are all cowboy asshole might-makes-right dipshits. Which dogma is more important to you, Jew hate or American stereotypes?
4) Christ. Where do I even start with your last mess of a paragraph? I'm not even going to touch it.

(Anonymous) 2014-05-03 07:25 am (UTC)(link)I'm going to ignore the invective and respond to the rest of this because you bothered to make rational arguments.
1. You don't have to ascribe Hollywood's preoccupation with Holocaust films to an organized agenda or a Jewish cabal. It could be the result of having a lot of influential Jews that want this kept at the forefront of pop culture because it's important to them. However, the result is still that Jews get their issues addressed in the American media to an extent that other minorities can only dream of, and if it's up to them, Germans are going to be the go-to villains in perpetuity.
2. Nothing against the Civil War. I meant that the US doesn't have any conflict more recent than WWII that there's a favorable popular consensus on. At the time, a lot of Americans were against getting involved. Yes. But in retrospect? No.
3. The Jews aren't evil, any more than any other group is, but they have spread an account of the war that's somewhat dramatized and self-serving. The US finds it convenient to propagate it. I see no contradiction.
