Setting aside snarky comments about Sartre... what's the paper's topic?

Hegel's master-slave dialectic and how Sartre adapts it, basically. I seriously cannot make heads or tails of anything Sartre writes. *feverishly looks up summaries on the internet*

(the best part is I don't think I've said anything that'll really get me in trouble even if my professor finds this post by some remote chance, because she already knows I supplement my reading with whatever "Anon's Assigned Reading for Dummies" websites I can get my hands on)

Haha, well for what it's worth I don't think you should feel bad about it, I think Sartre is just a bad writer. Don't remember anything on the specific topic though sorry!

IT'S OKAY NONNIE. IT'S OKAY.

There is a book called "The Story of Philosophy" by James Garvey & Jeremy Stangroom. It is about the size of an average novel, and it is incredibly readable. Trust me, I didn't know shit about philosophy, but this was a great introduction to it.

They have a whooooole section on Jean Paul Sartre. And a whole section of Hegel. If you can borrow it from a library, or download it, I suggest you find it and read up. Hopefully it will help you to understand what he's talking about!

Unfortunately my extension is only for one day and I have three and a half hours left of it, but I'll keep that in mind for next time!

Oh, dear. I'm sorry I couldn't be of any more help! :(

Godspeed, anon! I hope you get that paper in on time.
