(Anonymous) 2014-05-03 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)There is a book called "The Story of Philosophy" by James Garvey & Jeremy Stangroom. It is about the size of an average novel, and it is incredibly readable. Trust me, I didn't know shit about philosophy, but this was a great introduction to it.
They have a whooooole section on Jean Paul Sartre. And a whole section of Hegel. If you can borrow it from a library, or download it, I suggest you find it and read up. Hopefully it will help you to understand what he's talking about!
