I love babynaming sites - I'm actually surprised I don't get automatically generated baby products ads considering how much time I sometimes spend on those things...

The trouble with a lot of creators is that they're really .. rough sometimes. Features often look just that small bit too weird/off to be right but changing it only makes things worse.
I would love to play around with the EVEonline character generator. That thing looks divine. I'd actually pay money for a standalone.

They are. And sometimes you want to do something and either the thing won't let you or the way to do it is hard to figure out/understand.

Huh, I've never seen theirs. I'm guessing it's good?

At least it looks pretty great. It also looks kind of intuitive.
http://youtu.be/AVWPHe5G6Ms - an example. The game is apparently a bit of a waste because it seems you spend all of your time in that creator but never really properly see the character in game. It's also a monthly fee game, so I wouldn't want to play it.

omfg, that is the most realistic and complex character creator I've ever seen. I don't need the actual game, I just want the character creator.

It looks really great. I'm terrible at coming up with the looks for new original characters and that creator would be so helpful! I'd seriously pay money for that thing (just not a monthly fee if I don't plan on playing the actual game.)

I would too, actually. Not sure how much, but I would be willing! If they would make a non-online stand-alone game with the same creator I would be in heaven. Though, still, just playing around with the character creator looks like all kinds of fun and would be a fantastic way to get ideas for new characters.
