Re: Given the many different portrayals, who do you think of when you think about comic characters

...I honestly think of the comic artwork, not any actor/actress. I just can't get into movies the way I can get into the comics. :P

If it counts, Jim Lee's X-Men will probably always be my mental image of the X-Men, except for Jean Grey (Portacio ftw there) and Wolverine (Silvestri did his solo book for so long it's the definitive portrayal for me).
