Why spend effort to fix it when it's insanely popular as it is? It's like back when MySpace was huge, it was the most broken piece of crap I'd ever seen outside of a 90s Geocites page but it still made its name.

It would be even more popular if they do, I think. To me it's plain laziness (althoug I hadn't thought about all the "but we are earning tons of money as it is" thing) and lack of professionalism. It's a shame Tumblr is so popular depsite the huge flaws.

You're probably right, but when you're lazy, the lowest accomplishment is good enough. Still, I had hoped Yahoo buying would do something.

I know, I know, but I'm one of those people who still uses Yahoo mail because Gmail's format drives me insane, so I prayed at least Tumblr would get a formatting improvement. Alas.
