I love show tunes, musical theatre is a huge thing for me, and while I kinda roll my eyes at a lot (or even most) of Family Guy and am hardly a fan, some of their show tune parodies are the bright spots for me.

To each their own I guess.

Same here. I'm kind of a sucker for musical elements in anything and Family Guy's songs are a guilty pleasure of mine.

It's weird, but the dedication to that musical style is the one thing I've always respected about Family Guy/American Dad. It's obvious from the references, background music, and his own albums that Seth MacFarlane is a huge "big band" fanboy and I like that he adheres to that despite the fact that it's mostly foreign to the shows' target audience of millenial college bros. (I also love when Stewie and Bryan do the Road Comedy episodes.)
