God, I wish he would stop making movies. Whenever I see him in a trailer, I groan. And, if that movie is him + Tim Burton? Ugh.

Sometimes I feel like the only one who still likes that combination. I only watch the ones with a plot that interests me though so I haven't seen most of the ones that people complain about. I'll still perk up and find out what it's about when I hear of a new Burton/Depp project though, which seems to be becoming more and more unpopular.

They were a really great combo back in the day but now it is just so...unoriginal? It's like, "I get it. Johnny Depp is quirky and is in a crazy world that is gothic but bright at the same time!"

I just don't care that much about originality. If I liked something the first hundred times I saw it then I'll probably like it the hundred and first time. I also don't get tired of things if I watch them "too much" or ever feel like a song was ruined by being overplayed, so I think I'm just weird.

I get so many weird looks from people because I genuinely don't get tired of "the same old thing". I went to see Avengers 4 times in theaters, and I've watched it about once a week since then, and I'm still not tired of it. I listen to the same song on repeat for hours sometimes.

I've fallen a little out of love with the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp/Helena Bonham Carter thing, I'll admit, but I honestly think it's more that my tastes have changed as I've gotten older than anything else. It's like how people think there are too many superhero movies coming out and I just do not understand that because I LIKE superhero movies. How do you stop liking good thigs just because there's a lot of them?

Anyway what I'm saying is I agree with you sarilla. :D

I want another Tim Burton/Michael Keaton collab, but only if Burton will focus on Keaton (instead of Batman Returns, where he focused on the villains instead).
