(Anonymous) 2014-05-04 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)I can't speak for anyone else, but I had the exact same opinion as the ayrt when I first started watching him and was sure I'd never get used to it, but after a few episodes I stopped noticing his face at all and now I think it looks just fine. Just a guy's face.

It just made me bitter towards his character. Even nearly a year after I saw that episode, I still feel mad about it.

(Anonymous) 2014-05-04 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)I suppose if you were actually suckered by that "some new man walks away" bullshit which is really not what happens at all and has never been the case for the Doctor, it would be off-putting. But like I said, that was bullshit. I love Ten, but he was very messed up in the head, and probably (legitimately) scared that regenerating would make him even more messed up, during those last few eps and what he said says more about his mindstate than the reality of regenerating.

This is a weirder and more petty one but I just hate how abrupt the ending for Ten was. I guess because I was genuinely upset about it. So it was really super sad but suddenly the mood completely changed from somber to GOOFY AWKWARD PERSON!!!

Also, what I have seen about various episodes and plots, has also turned me off of wanting to watch (especially anything having to do with the Weeping Angels. I hated the episode Blink).
