I was head-over-heels for a fic I read a few years ago. I left some gushing reviews and, yeah, in hindsight the fic has a great premise but wasn't all that great and I probably came across as a bit embarrassing. >_>

Still, I enjoyed it at the time, the first read-through was a fun experience. I just try to remember that. I totally get the feeling of embarrassment though.
