I think people who do "open carry firearm" demonstrations (that is, carry firearms, usually assault rifles around in public in order to "exercise" their second amendment rights just because.) are jackasses.

Agreed. It screams out insecurity to have to wave around your big ol' phallic weapon just to prove you own one.

I'm just waiting for the day when two of those people wind up shooting each other because they each take the other for a wannabe mass-shooter. As long as no bystanders get hurt, I will laugh my ass off.
