Looking at the redesign, they're clearly earrings now. But before, I always thought those white circles looked like part of the diadem/headband thing.

Whiiich gets me to thinking how uncomfortable it might be to have those things pressing on her ears all night. Kind of a 'headphones on too long' deal. But she's already dealing with glass shoes, so maybe it's no big thing.

This! I'm 30 and I only just realized with this secret that they were earrings! I just always assumed she had some weirdass headband thing going on.
