Man, the single greatest multifandom vid ever for fangirls (especially h/c and whump junkies like me) is On The Prowl. It's basically meta on fandom, specifically, the "he hurts so beautifully" mantra and the way scenes where male characters are tortured and injured are always considered to be really hot. The vidder actually mentions an exchange she had with one of the people helping her as pretty much summing up the vid:

greensilver: this dude was graphically disemboweled [on an episode of NCIS]
sweetestdrain: was he hot?
