True, but that's on the whingers. Where prompting requesting is alright, although pestering is definitely frowned upon of course, when someone suggests they can take cents/word or a couple bucks a drabble suddenly all these copyright infringement alarm bells go off and how true writers shouldn't ask for cash incentive.

Huh? I know multiple people who offered fanfic commissions on their blog, and if they ever caught flak for it, it wasn't enough to warrant a mention. It always seemed to go well.
