This. I don't understand how people expect to get the product they want when writing quality is so subjective and such a case-by-case thing. How do you know if the client will like the execution of the piece? I guess you could show them the progress, but I feel like that's different from artwork because then you ruin the surprise.

Also, your prices would either be too high, or you'd end up undervaluing your work. I just can't see how it'd work.
