Where did I say I had no problems with fan artists? I didn't mention fanart because I'm a fanfic writer, so it's all about the words for me. Art isn't on my radar.

But, as a matter of fact, I feel the same whether it's a writer making easy money or an artist making easy money. Riffing on someone else's imagination and creativity for money and profit (however small) is so lazy to me, and it's a disservice to the person who sat down and actually made an effort to create something somewhat original.
