On a more serious note - his high school episode finished his character for me. It was one big cliche.

Ugh, that episode was THE WORST. It was like every horrible cliche they could cram in, a massive continuity snarl (not like TW has enough of those already) and then they ended it with a fridging. Just so we could make more of the horrible shit in Beacon Hills All About Derek. UGH.

THAT EPISODE MADE ME SO MAD. I don't care if he was being manipulated by Peter, he totally set Paige up to get bit AGAINST HER WILL. Sorry, my sympathy points are pretty low for Derek. This episode, the episodes where he preyed on Erica (and Boyd and Isaac but Erica's seemed the worst), and every episode where he was a smug asshole really had me disliking Derek for a while. :|

Mannequin!Anon. YES! All of this! Not to mention it went like a Sparks novel, but I believe that Paige would eventually get over the random bad boy crush.

Managed to forget the Erica bit... She ended up owning it, but NOT ON HER OWN TERMS. The part where he dropped her off at school creeped the hell out of me (and the totally sexual come ons in the morgue).

Oh man, yes, I love Erica but she was completely manipulated into becoming a werewolf by a hot older dude who KIDNAPPED HER FROM HER HOSPITAL ROOM. Uuuugh so creepy Derek, so creepy.

Plus, later on when they were training or something and she jumped on him and kissed him and he pushed her away and said "I have someone else in mind for you" just GROSS, wow Derek. I'm glad you have ~plans~ for Erica's romances. Mind telling Erica what your plans are?

Just, ugh, wow, alpha!Derek was such a gross creeper. UGH.
