GREAT BECAUSE I TAUGHT A WONDERFUL CLASS INSTEAD OF PRE-K. THEY WERE SO GREAT. I LOVE THEM. <3

What grade was your wonderful class?

Kinder. Oh the wonder a year makes. That and I can give them punishments/rewards that I couldn't with pre-k. They also know me really well because I've been in that class a lot so it's cool. Plus, their teacher is very good so it's a well-ordered class.

Man, I love those little ones. I'll be sad when they hit 1st grade cause I don't know those teachers so they probably won't hire me. But I'll catch 'em again in 2nd.

My ankle is still sprained and my legs are covered in bruises on account of falling down the stairs yesterday.

However, we had a group presentation today that went really well. Only one more day of classes, exams, and then I'm off to DC.

Feh.

It's too hot up here but I'm having a good day.

I got a weird package from Etsy and I have no idea from where or who.

Vaguely annoying. I'm exhausted and I slept too much. Then before I went grocery shopping, I complained to my friends about having to put on pants and a bra and they took it way too seriously.

My day was a non-entity. Nothing has happened at all. But in a couple hours we're all going to a fancy Italian restaurant for my mother's birthday. I bought her some scented candles that I'm not sure she'll like because I think we perceive candle scents very differently.

Woke up waaayy too early with a fever so now I'm just in bed, sweating it out. It's a terrible time to get sick too, I have an exam next Monday :(

I was in my ballroom dance class yesterday, and I accidentally slipped and fell. Figured I was fine; I hadn't heard anything break, nothing was twisted, so I got back up and kept on dancing.

...In hindsight, not one of my smartest ideas, as it turns out that slamming down on the grown actually hurts! A lot! Even the day after!

So today's mostly been me trying to apply ice to places, cursing teh fact that I don't have proper ice packs, and generally being in a very grumbly mood at my own stupidity. |D

my class was kind of awful today but it's Teacher Appreciation Week and I am getting lots of little gifts and cards and stuff that remind me that even when the kids are being awful, they (or at least their parents) appreciate me :)

Totally unmemorable until about six hours ago, when it exploded with pain. I took some pics of myself because I felt so bad and I looked even worse than I expected. I was genuinely worried for about five minutes that I'd had some kind of mini stroke before I managed to talk myself out of it.

There were cupcakes and everybody wished me happy birthday. Great day. :)

Yesterday, I was talking about how excited I was because we were signing for our great new apartment.

Just got news it's not as great as we thought. We're probably still going to get it, but we're really disappointed.

Plus it seems like my commute home is going to be an hour, no matter how late I leave work.

Was finally feeling up to going out and running some errands involving cosplay supplies. To quote something from FB that is still true as a great example of cosplay life:

"Oh, just grinding the fake seams off some plastic dollar store baseballs. Soon my robot will have shoulders!"

And now I am pantsless, sewing pants. And the pants are not for me, or anywhere near enough my size that I have the excuse of trying them on.

Still jobless, applied to three different places, and realized I have sent out nearly 50 applications since I was fired in late February. I decided to spend the rest of the day watching documentaries on Netflix.
