Captain America 3. It's not too early to be excited about Captain America 3, right? (Cause I've been excited about it from the very moment I knew Bucky was going to return in Cap 2.)

Also Guardians of the Galaxy and Age of Ultron, but less so.

I would say Thor 3 because I love Thor but in all actuality I'm just kind of dreading seeing where Marvel is going to take this Loki situation.

Other than that...uh, the final season of Justified, the return of Covert Affairs, Defiance and more Fargo.

It's never too early. Never.

GoTG looks like it could be good fun, I don't think excited is the right word but I am going to be happy to go see it. Gosh on one hand AoU could be good, on the other, so. Many. New. Characters. Like I love the Maximoff's(mostly Wanda) and I am just... wary at what they're doing with them. But! On a positive note I really dig AoU!Wanda's outfit.

I feel you man, I feel you. I want to see where they're going with it, but at the same time I don't want to see what they're going to do with it. Like. Idk man. Idk.

Good to know!

GOTG is so new and different to me so I think that's where the excitement is coming from. I know next to nothing about it so it's a slew of new characters that (MCU) fandom can play with and enjoy. NEW FIC, YAY! IDK how AOU is going to turn out, but it should be an interesting experience either way. The way I see it even the 'bad' Marvel films expand the MCU a bit, and that isn't terrible. (Lol, yes, I'm trying to be positive. We'll see.)

I almost don't because I like Loki, but Loki frustrates me and I don't want Marvel to drag this out forever and make me hate him. If they continue doing this for four more films I will, I just know it.

New fic is always a good thing! And tbh I am going to be waiting to see what the main ship out of this movie is, because quite honestly all the combinations are pretty amusing.

I am tbf being overly pessimistic, because that's how I roll, but lord knows I'm going to go see it anyway. They might just only get one viewing out of me instead of 2+, lol.

They really have no idea what they're doing with him and that makes me sad because he is one of my top two Marvel villains, like guys, just pick something and stick with it. It hasn't gotten to the level where I hate what they're doing with him but... it could and I do not relish that.

NEGL, I will be disappointed if Rocket Raccoon/Groot does not become a thing. I don't know how to sex would work, I don't want to know, but I want them to be a snarky old married couple. I know nothing about the characters so this might be OOC to the max, but this is what I want. (For some reason I think Groot/Peter is going to be popular. I have no idea why, it's just a feeling.)

One viewing is all they need! Even if it's only so-so they will make obscene amounts of money, lol.

Let's hope they have plans for Loki that we will approve of.

OH MY GOD. You! Get out of my head! I too kind of want Rocket/Groot to be a thing, I don't know why, but I do. I should probably worry about my brain on some level... meh. It's probably going to be Peter/someone as the main pair, I'm expecting Peter/Drax or Peter/Gamora tbh but I will laugh my ass off if Peter/Rocket happens.

Tbh they'd have to fuck up on a major level to get me to not see one of their films, and I'm talking character death I DNW or something reaaaaaly gross/offensive happening.

/sigh. We shall see, we shall see.

The whole 'groot is Rocket's personal houseplant/muscle' thing made me think, "BUT WHAT IF ROCKET HIRED HIM TO WATCH HIS BACK AND THEY FELL IN LOVE?!" In a non-serious manner of course, but that's where my head went. (I've been in fandom too long, man. Wayyyyyyy too long.) I don't even want to imagine anything else, I just want them to be a couple and everyone to be confused (and possibly intrigued) as to how that works. Peter/Drax probably will happen because: visuals, but a part of me wants to see Peter/Rocket happen now. I would be there for Drax/Gamora or Gamora/Nebula (again, because visuals) but who knows if it'll happen.

I think there IS going to be a character death...at some point, they've mentioned it, but probably not in AOU. Hopefully not... Don't make me hate you Marvel. (Let it be someone unimportant!)

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I don't want any characters to die :( :( :(

Thor: the dark world spoilers

[personal profile] elaminator 2014-05-08 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
I don't either, unless that person is Loki. Because as mentioned, I like Loki, but at some point Marvel has to 'let him go' (at least for a while), so I would be fine with them killing him off. (Though I stand by my comments about how he should have 'really' died in TDW and stayed dead for at least a few films because then when he returned he and Thor could actually work together instead of fighting each other again. Oh Marvel...)

Maybe they'll kill one of the new characters they're introducing. All I know is it better not be Steve Rogers. I will cut a bitch.

Ok, I take it back; I wouldn't mind if Loki dies a dignified death . I loved TDW anyway because I love any instance of Thor showing up and being Thor, but the jack-in-the-box Loki thing was redonk and not in a good way.

WHO COULD KILL STEVE ROGERS THOUGH

WHAT KIND OF MONSTER

seriously what would I even do if that happened, besides drown in my own tears; that would be the ice sliver in my heart that turned me into a giant surly ice statue of cold rage and misery

(I would probably still watch Marvel movies though, ngl)

Thor himself was great in TWD! He was hilarious and hot and so brave; I loved him. I loved his moments with Loki as well, I'm just tired of Loki's manipulation and him always getting away with shit.

I would probably keep watching too, but it would be close to hate watching. At least for a while. I would be that person who watches a Marvel movie and says, “If STEVE were here” every five minutes. Rogers can't die. He can't, he's a ray of sunshine and the MCU needs a character like him. Bucky needs him! Damn you Marvel, don't touch that pretty face.
