It was mostly Dean. He seemed very macho manly grr in a way that was really irritating. I don't know if it's just me though.

Oh he is like that. He does get a better and mellow out a bit, once he manages to get over his dad, but he still has his moments. Honestly the most infuriating thing about the series to me is that they use the whole 'miscommunication/keeping-secrets-from-each-other' thing to create conflict so often, it's like they ran out of ideas back in season two. The premise is good, but it could have been much better.
