It is just a shame that there is, allegedly, only going to be a total of twelve minutes cumulated screen time of big G in the movie. The Director is using his trick from his first movie of just not showing him (excusable in that cause of the budget and low expectations, but not in a big blockbuster). I don't see how not showing Big-G in his own movie is going to go over well with an audience who paid to see a full on 70s style kaiju movie. Its basically a remake of Cloverfield.
