Man I always miss the preliminary stages of Eurovision I never remember and I don't know why, but I am so pumped for Saturday. I have no idea what the UK song is, it's probably terrible, I don't really care I just want to watch everyone else sing and dance on-stage.

Actually, the UK song is one of the top favourites to win or at least do extremely well! Apparently sending in talented young singers who actually write their own music goes over better than attempting to reanimate Engelbert Humperdinck, who knew?

Anything is better than Engelbert Humperdinck and the travesty that was Gemini, I haven't actually heard our entry for this year yet though so I should actually give it a listen.

It sounded pretty good from the little previews at the end of the semis :) (I'm not going to listen to it, I want to hear everything for the first time during the actual contest.) But yeah, UK and Netherlands are currently battling it out to be third and fourth favourite (it keeps switching, depending on the agencies). Armenia and Sweden keep switching for first and second, too - I like Armenia the best, out of those, but again, haven't heard the UK one.

Ha, true seeing it all live is always best. It's odd to hear we're in the running to be third, I know the media over here likes to make a fuss every Eurovision with all the 'Yeah this year will totally be our year!' and it never is so I am taking it with a pinch of salt.
