Based on your last sentence, I can't completely tell what you're going for. Are you saying that it's okay to make generalities if members of a group have actually done bad things, and that feminists are hypocrites because they respond the same way men do?

I think the feminists that pull the "not all men" thing are hypocrites if they complain about people making generalizations about feminism.

I'm not against generalizations based on groups for convenience, but I do think people need to consider their audience and how they'll react based on those generalizations, especially on a public forum like the internet.
