Re: So have you heard about...
This was all when it was coming out and it was a long time ago and I was young. But I remember really, really liking Sojourn and Meridian - I thought both of them had interesting characters and worlds, and both just had a lot of really good clean adventurous fun. And I like that. I also remember liking Ruse a lot, that had some cool stuff. I also think I read Way of the Rat and Scion but I don't think I liked them as much. I don't think I read any of them to the end, though.
What were your favorites, anon?
Re: So have you heard about...
(Anonymous) 2014-05-09 01:47 am (UTC)(link)I was surprised how much I liked Sigil and Route 666 and Medieval Lady Death since those usually aren't my thing but they were surprisingly entertaining. I really liked Meridian too. I thought the world was fascinating and I liked how politically savvy Sephie was from the lessons her dad taught her about being a good leader. The only title I still haven't gotten into yet is Scion.
It was sad that CrossGen ended when it did since all the titles were ending anyway to gear up for the big Negation War, which I was really interested to see how that was going to unfold. But, a lot of the titles had a decent wrap-up despite the bankruptcy, which was nice.
