Captain America (most of these are Steve/Bucky and include Winter Soldier footage, but there are a few Steve or Bucky centric vids included)

Things We Lost in the Fire
I know this song is a bit overused but it works so well with these two. I love the fast cuts of this video.

Bang Bang
The version of the song used in this video is haunting and gorgeous and makes the tone of this video very somber and perfect.

See What I've Become
Great build-up! Very much tells Cap's story, which in turn is Bucky's story. The music is fantastic and the voice-overs are quite nice.

Never Gonna Be the Same
Ugh, what can I even say about this... It's one of my favorites. Perfect Steve/Bucky vid with a heavy focus on Bucky. This vid is badass, beautiful and the song is incredibly catchy and fitting.

We Go Hard
This is just fun; Steve and Bucky being totes awesome and brutal. I think Steve would approve of the song choice, lol.

Can't Kill Us
Bucky porn, plain and simple.

Sorrow
Steve centric vid with some Steve/Peggy and Steve/Bucky. Very good. I always rec this (it was probably my first Cap vid!), but...hey, lots of new fans after Winter Soldier.

Fight and Fate
Voice-overs can be so hit and miss but I really dig this vid, especially what the vidder did with the end of this. Cool editing.

Let Him Go
Lots of Sebastian Stan's puppy dog eyes set to a song full of infinite sadness. Love it.

The War Was in Color
Pretty sure everyone has seen this by now (and I and others have rec'd it), but just in case: watch it now. Perfection.

Say Something
Prepare for tons of ugly feels. Maybe grab a box of kleenex.

Shattered Ones
I don't generally like lots of text in vids but this is such an exceptional vid that I don't mind too much. So much beautiful angst and although I've seen this song used a hundred times before it's so appropriate. This is basically a tribute to Steve and Bucky's epic bromance.

Remembrance
Wonderful Bucky vid (by one of my favorite vidders)! One of the better vids I've seen in quite a while; excellently edited, terrific music, everything about it is so good and unique.

The River, The Woods
Another of my favorites! I can't say enough about how awesome this vid is. It is so, SO very pretty, the music is stupidly catchy and it's filled with lots of satisfying, fast cuts. Lots of fun to watch, too.

Invincible
Short but very good!

To Build A Home
Another Steve centric vid. (And probably my absolute favorite. Fills my heart with joy and reminds me why I love Steve so much.) Uses The First Avenger and Avengers footage, but is utterly perfect and uses voice-overs flawlessly. Excellent character study! (Not sure if it was intentional, but feels very Steve/Peggy & Steve/Bucky.)

Call In the Asset
More Winter Soldier being badass porn. Very short but pretty.

Seven Nation Army
Again, short, but filled with Winter Soldier being cooler than you.

Thor, Thor/Loki
Wrecking Ball
Beautiful quality. Lots of Thor smashing things, Thor and Loki hitting each other and being uncomfortably close. Pretty much what you would expect but in the best possible way; this is both hilarious and oddly sincere and sweet. (And TBH, could you pick a better song than "Wrecking Ball" for this relationship? I was wanting a good Thorki vid to this song for a while; thanks, fandom.)

Hawaii 5-0, Steve/Danny

"Things We Lost in the Fire" is getting overused for fanvids? I must investigate this further. *loves that song*

(Also, I am the person a while back who was commenting on having a Daughtry or Carbon Leaf song for almost every fandom, so seeing "The War Was In Color" on the list gave me a chuckle.)

For fanmixes for sure (Though I don't mind because like you, I love that song); fanvids I'm not as sure about, but I bet so!

After watching all these I realize that I can't wait for the movie to be released on DVD for all the new fanvids.

I'm sad knowing there are all these awesome vids using terrible footage and that none of them will probably be remastered later. I get why people wouldn't, mind you (it must be a ton of work and it can't be much fun to do the same thing over again), but yea... I want remastered vids!
