You should. It takes place barely a year after the series iirc, but Darkwing had to give up crimefighting due to reasons and police robots maintaining extreme peace. If you saw the pilot for the show, there's this layer of melancholy that doesn't quite recur in the show, but it's subtle and present here. It also being a comic, and not a 90's cartoon, saying DIE is allowed.

edit: oh yeah, it's not ongoing anymore, not since 2011, but it finished it's arcs rather than be dropped mid-series. The guy who did the art has a tumblr, silvaniart, and he apparently keeps mentioning that plans are in the works with the property or whatever. /siiiiiigh
