I tried getting into the metagame, but I kinda hit a wall with Smogon and lost interest. I should go back and try to build that Trick Room team for epic lulz.

Why, what happened? I know Smogon is not very first-time-user-friendly (I myself bumbled about for a couple of weeks before I figured out the whole thing with tiers and I only just learned about laddering) but it's fair enough about giving EV-spreads and things like that.

I managed to figure things out easily enough, I just kind of got obsessive about building a team, and then I ran out of steam.

Aww. I think I know what you mean though, I find team building kind of tedious too, especially when I first try out a new tier. That's why I like using established teams from the Rate My Team boards and Random Battles.
