Forgive me for saying this but you seem to worry a lot about what people on the Internet who make flip, easy internet criticisms about stuff are going to say about your fiction

as long as you're aware of that shit and not falling into the most obvious traps - which you clearly are - and as long as your story is generally effective, i really don't think it's going to be that big of a deal.

so stop worrying about that shit.
