Kind of tied to the fate thread, though I was going to start it anyway.

Has anyone ever had an experience that weirded them out? Not that you necessarily think they were paranormal (or maybe you do!) but they were certainly... creepy? And yet you know if you told anyone else they'd think you were crazy?

I saw a human shaped light person emerge from a wall and then run out a window up towards the sky when I was around five. I was not asleep at the time and my mother remembers me screaming about a light man running over my sister's head, lol. I don't believe in ghosts or the supernatural, so I don't know what it was.

Creepy for a different reason, buttttt my older sister's ex boyfriend used to work for a limo company. A very popular person at the time was doing a concert (not saying who) and he accidentally left his bag in the limo. Her ex photocopied his driver's license, fishing license, other stuff, and a picture of another famous person at the time for one of my nieces. I was eleven then and I still feel creeped out about it.

Did you live with a neighbor's window across from you? I'm wondering if it wasn't some sort of flashlight game you saw/misinterpreted. Only other thing I can think is that it was a burglar with a flashlight... weird.

It was a hotel and the window in the room opened up to a large square courtyard thing facing other rooms. My best guess would be something like that, but it would have had to have been a projector of some sort. The memory is still very vivid, and the light was blueish white with rainbows coursing through it.

No, they were small strands. Hmm, if you could imagine the AOL mascot made of light with rainbows running through it, only a little taller, that'd be it. It was perfectly human shaped, just had no features or hair or anything like that.

It always weirds me out whenever I meet someone with "dead eyes." The eyes were someone looks through you and not at you. Because type of people always end up never acknowledging people as people. More like they treat people like objects with no remorse with what they do with them. It's a warning flag to be careful around these sort of people. Charles Manson has serious dead eyes.

I met a guy like that once.

He was a creepy fucker, kept making a lot of sexual innuendo towards me. (I was only a first year university student at the time.) He'd hang around at the bus stop and once caught the same bus as me and talked at me the entire time. Tried to get me to "come have coffee" with him.

Those days, I was too polite & naive to just tell him to fuck off. Eventually he just stopped turning up, idk why.

Whenever I was around him, I just felt this utter terror that I've never felt around anyone else since. I think that was my guy instincts warning me. I didn't believe a single word that came out of his mouth.

To this day, I honestly think that guy was a psychopath, and I would not be at all surprised to hear if he had raped or assaulted someone.

- I've known people were going to be important at first sight before. Don't ask me how.

- This is secondhand, but younger family member mine used to say really weird things - I asked her if she wanted to play with a doll, and she said "he can't walk anymore." She was two. And she'd sometimes lean in, say my name in a really low and serious voice (again, she was two), and then go back to babbling like nothing had happened. Not necessarily paranormal, really, but still weird!

yeah the house i used to live in was haunted. Right before I moved out I felt someone's fingers in my hair while I was sleeping (it woke me up), but prior to that a lot of creepy shit had happened and more than one person had driven me home at night and then frantically called to tell me that there was someone walking around in my yard (there never was of course)

When I was a kid, I had this lavender teddy bear (well, I still do have it somewhere). One day I was sitting on the floor a few feet away from my bed, and the bear was on the bed... and it jumped off toward me. I don't mean it fell, it sort of launched off the bed in a small arc and landed about a foot away from the bed, close to where I was sitting.

So weird. I wasn't scared, but it was weird. It never happened again.

One time I walked into the chapel at my Catholic school, and for reasons I can't explain, was moved to tears. I always felt like something big happened in that chapel, but never knew what. I'm so tempted to research, but it'd be really creepy if it turned out something hugely significant did happen.

I didn't find it creepy, but I used to have dreams that came true or have premonitions (mostly emotional rather than knowing actual events, like something important is about to happen or this person you met is going to be a big deal rather than predicting events). I don't do this anymore. I lost it somewhere.

Same here. So weird. And it's happened since I was younger - a year and a half ago, I had a dream I was wearing gray, but decided not to change because "I have to go to the funeral anyway." About a week later, if even, a friend died. He hadn't been doing well, so it's not a huge stretch that I thought it might happen, but... it was so unsettling and weird. :/

I'm pretty sure I avoided something very illegal at the hands of a strange man.

Several years ago and in another state, I drove to a strip malle. It was raining hard. I parked in a stretch of four our five empty spots, two rows from the front of the store I needed. Went inside, shopped, my parents drove there after work and found me inside. We came back out and went to my car to stash my purchase before we went for dinner.

A car had parked on my car's right side, right next to mine. The car was a smallish thing in general disrepair, with a big white guy sitting in the front passenger seat, smoking. My front right front tire was flat, and thanks to the rain and the parking lot, was in a big puddle of water.

We stood at the back of my car, talking, and decided to deal with the tire after dinner, to which we would all ride in my parents' car. At this point, the man in the car next to mine got out and walked off without a word.

After dinner, we carefully drove my car to a tire place, luckily located in the same strip mall. They looked at the tire, reinflated it, and said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Valve was fine, no punctures, nothing.

It was like someone let the air out of the tire.

If my parents hadn't been there....it still freaks me out, years later. GAH.

Wow... it may have just been a coincidence, but that does sound creepy. I'm sorry.

My sister swears I may have been being followed once; she said she dropped me off somewhere, and noticed someone walking in my direction. She started driving in the same direction, and he kept looking at her as if waiting for her to go away. It may have been more innocent than it looked, but it was weird. It was at school, so now I wish I'd reported it. I'm just so thankful she noticed, because who knows what would've happened?
