I understand that feeling all to well. Damn near all my fandoms were fairly large in their heyday, but they're dying and hardly anybody writes fic for my rarepairs. So I'm stuck rereading the few fic that I have.

Yep, exactly. Or rereading my own fic. All-time low, there. It's just not the same as discovering a new fic, but beggars can't be choosers.

I'm no writer so I don't even have that option. What's worse is during my rereads I will start noticing mistakes, oocness, general badness and I can't enjoy the fic. So that my number of fic to read dwindles.

Plus, I can't reread a fic too much in a short amount of time or I will lose and enjoyment I get out of it.
