I've fluctuated in weight as well. It's so true, looking back at old photos, I never looked half as fat as I thought I did at the time. Realising that has made me relax a bit about it (well, on most days, anyway).

My changing weight has also made me sympathetic to women of all sizes, since I've been there myself. When I was thin, I saw larger women watching me carefully as if I was judging them. I wasn't!

AYRT

OMG, that is so true. I haven't had thin legs since my teens (I'm in my thirties) and now I see ladies with larger legs giving me the evil eye and it's like, what? 12 months ago MY THIGHS COULD SUFFOCATE SOMEONE. And there's nothing wrong with that. I didn't care what I looked like, I just got told by my doctor I was headed towards diabetes and heart problems, so I stopped eating as much shit as I was. I still love junk food, but I'll get a burger and diet drink and skip the chips. Chips are my biggest weakness. I loooooove chips.

I've been with my partner almost ten years. Partner met me when I was thin, I have been a fatty for most of that time and now I'm a bit skinnier. Partner loves me no matter what I look like, although they do lament the loss of boobage and butt.
