look, I totally agree in both cases there's whiny assholes who make up those things or diagnose themselves or whatever, but those are actual disorders people actually have.

Nobody's arguing that they're not. They're talking about people using "they have a disorder" as some sort of justification for someone being a really shitty person.

It's justification for having the textbook distorted mentality that most anorexics have. It skews and fucks up perception and priorities. They're not just simply being a really shitty person.

most polarizing secrets posted here are submitted to elicit a response. if this was posted 6 years ago, then maybe i would believe this was submitted in good faith. plus if OP really has an eating disorder, a lot of them also have personality disorders (*coughBorderlinecough*) and boy do those assholes love chaos and attention.

Most of the replies say "get help to change". Outraged fat people jumping on someone are just being cruel and show no signs that they want to change the way they think, which is basically "anyone who doesn't want to be fat for any reason must be punished."

maybe those mean fatties have been pushed to mean by society always shitting on them. or, perhaps, their diabetes was flaring up and it's fucking with their brains. i can't judge them, they might need help. :(
