As a huge player of video games who also has anxiety issues, I can sympathize to a degree. I don't really have panic attacks, but if there's a timer of any sort in a game (either a detonation timer, racing timer, etc.), I get REALLY stressed out and can't think straight. If the timer isn't visible, I'm fine, but if there's a countdown clock that starts freaking out as it gets closer to the end, I'm liable to royally screw up what I'm supposed to be doing. Progression-of-day is fine for me, though, since it's not really pressuring me, so games like Pikmin don't freak me out.

Don't feel like you're the only one who has problems with this, OP. I haven't been able to 100% certain games due to timed missions. You've just got to keep at it and hope you'll desensitize yourself to whatever's causing you stress.
