Agreed, I get why the fantasy exists and all but it's all over the place and just kind of dull to me at this point. And tbh I've come across more fumbling fail!sex in slash than I have in het(this isn't like a damning point towards het or anything it's just something I've noticed) and I'm sad it's not more common because I quite like it when both characters are sort of bumbling together. It's cute.
