The Walking Dead is not feminist unfriendly?
Really? Is that the same show that started with some misogynist comments by the best friend of the lead character, the same show where the only woman who didn't stay back and take care of the chores was depicted as doing the wrong thing for a whole season, the same show where if a woman makes a bad choice and acts on her own she gets punished in a way that could get her killed?

Honestly OP, I don't get your standards at all.

Michonne, Carole, Maggie, Beth, Sasha, Tara, Rosita...The Walking Dead has some of the best female characters on television (three dimensional, motivated for something other than romance, able to take care of themselves, etc.) Sure, it's had several misogynistic characters, but they are never portrayed as correct. And as their survival situation has become more and more dire, the gender role bullshit has ceased. The women are not portrayed as less capable or in need of coddling or protecting. They're smart survivors who can take care of themselves.

Honestly, I don't get your standards. What sort of feminist zombie utopia are you looking for?
