ETA: What are the pros and cons of your smartphone?

[personal profile] nyxelestia 2014-05-12 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
I am looking to hear advantages of specific types of phones, as well - I pretty much have to get a smartphone at this point, it's just a matter of what kind of phone I'm going to get. Overall, I'm a Windows and PC person, but I've also been using an iPod touch for years and have gotten quite used to it, so I want to know more about how well they "use" before trying settling myself with just one in particular.

If you've got an iPod Touch, the iPhone is practically the same thing but with the ability to call people and go online without having to connect to a specific network. I'm a PC person too and I had an iPod Touch before I got my iPhone (which is when I traded the Touch for a Classic because I have ridiculous amounts of music and wanted the extra storage space, since I can put the apps on my phone now instead), and it made the iPhone fairly simple to use. I find it pretty easy to handle, though the iPhone's my first smartphone too so I have no idea how it compares to anything else.
