My vote for Dr. Strange is Idras Alba, because after seeing what his character looks like in Pacific Rim, I think he would be one of the best actors to pull off the physical appearance of Dr. Strange, he'd just be black in the MCU.

If we had to go for a white guy, I've heard people say Viggo Mortensen would be good, and I think he could pull off the actor, but not sure if he'd look a lot like the comic book version of Dr. Strange.

Idris Elba could certainly pull it off from an acting perspective - he was Stringer Bell, I mean, come on. But I think he's a lot more physically imposing than Strange, and also he gets fancast into everything.

Another Wire actor / fancast stalwart who should be mentioned is Aidan Gillen, who I think definitely could pull off the look and the role. I feel like that's kind of a copout answer but what can you do.

Yeah, as awesome as Elba is, he's just soooo buff. Way more than I see for Strange.

Agreed.

Plus, he's already Heimdall so it'd be weird. And is also not happening anyway because there's like 0.0000001 chance they'd cast an actor that's already a part of the MCU.

The only problem is he's already an awesome Heimdall in MCU.
