My fic made it onto Equestria Daily and got 560 inbounds from it. Also, the prereader faved and followed--he's kind of a big deal. (I won't use his name because I'm not sure he'd want me to use him to promote myself, but he's accomplished both in and out of fandom, and I'm kind of amazed he liked my story.)

Wow, that's super awesome! Do you mind sharing it with me? I remember talking to you before and determining that we both like pony genfic, so if it's genfic that you've written I'd love to see it.

It's not genfic, though it doesn't have romance. It's both a creation story for Equestria and an exploration of psychological trauma (and easily the most personal thing I've ever written.) I'm almost embarrassed by it in some ways, but I guess people were interested to see so much pain on the page.
