Re: men's clothing

nayrt

There is absolutely nothing uglier than menswear that's trying too hard to be "quirky" and "non-mainstream." If you put my ex-BF in a room with 99 normal-looking shirts and one hideous "quirky" one, he would infallibly find his way to the awful one and reject everything else as "boring." OP's taste is in their mouth, probably.

I'm kinda confused about your last sentence, do you mean that OP seems to like quirky men's clothes?
That's some talent your ex got! I now a guy who has around fifty designer shirts and they're all about the same, but different colors/patterns. Some of them he never wears or wears only ones. It doesn't stop him from buying more though.

Sorry about the confusion--"his taste is in his mouth" is a roundabout way of saying someone has terrible taste. And yeah, in this case, I'm betting that OP has the same taste for quirky things that my ex plumed himself on. I would have taken ~boring and mainstream any day over that godawful shit.

I almost want to see his pluming choices.) Ehh, I'm sure we'll never know OP's exact gripes.
I personally don't mind plain and boring clothes...
