(Anonymous) 2014-05-13 01:41 pm (UTC)(link)I just came onto this thread for some new fic recs, and I've not been disappointed.
The banter between Tony and Loki is what makes the ship so good. Tony POV is the best for fics. I don't really care about Loki's past history. Wasn't Tony a former arms dealer who sold to dodgy countries? Hulk has killed innocent people too, and Natasha was an assassin. None of the Avengers are exactly blameless, it just happened mostly off-camera.
I do prefer fics where Loki remains properly fucked up and homicidal and no one tries to redeem him, but his (sort of) redemption is perfectly plausible if you take into consideration the arcs of the other Avengers. It does remove the point of him for me, though.
I love the fics where Loki is broken/injured/bound to Tony by magic/made his slave. Tom Hiddleston cries so prettily.
As for Loki being the bottom sometimes, also perfectly plausible. He's been a woman, as well as various animals, and he's hundreds of years old. He's probably experienced in almost everything.
