Whaaaaat it's like you are absolutely isolated from fans or something. Allison's basically best clone, unanimously decided.

Say something shocking like, "Cossima sucks." At least then I could be in here yelling about how I'm not the only one or something.

i love all of the characters but..............i like cosima the least..........

but probably because she reads too much "this is a layman's perception of what a science graduate student must be like" to me. i haven't started watching s2 yet so i can't make any judgments about that but she felt really flat to me in s1, kinda like a deus ex machina for whenever they needed to handwave the science-y bits.

REGARDLESS, i really love the show and tatiana maslany deserves like 900 golden globes :DDD

I'm enjoying Cosima much more in season 2. I think the problem with her character is the first season was that she was used largely for exposition e.g. explaining the scientific details of the clones.

She really is science deus ex machina. I don't think I've ever liked geeky lab characters in other shows either because they always come off as though the writer was trying too hard to get it.

I can't stand blonde-computer-chick in Criminal Minds and Pig-tail-goth-chick from NCIS.

Criminal Minds chick I grudgingly put up with, I've never seen an episode of Criminal Minds. YOU PEOPLE HAVE IMPORTANT JOBS GOVERNMENT JOBS!! NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO SHOW YOUR QUIRKY PERSONALITY THROUGH IMPRACTICAL OUTFIT CHOICES!

To be completely fair, Garcia hardly ever goes out with the team, she mostly stays in her office. So her dressing the way she does doesn't bother me. She's awesome imo.

Oh my there's so much amen to be had here. Can I include the lab guy from Dollhouse (and other nerds from Whedon shows) and the annoying tattoo nerd from Pacific Rim? I'd say say Felicity from Arrow might be my only exception, but she kind of lacks the excessive quirkiness.

As a government employee who is frequently compared (favourably) to Garcia by clients and guests, I resent this. There is nothing impractical about her fashion choices if she's sitting in an office all day. I do, however, take umbrage with her shitty fluffy feather pens. I am serious about my office supplies.

Cosima's my second least favourite, next to Rachel (just because we don't know much about her yet I guess other than Powerful CEO Ice Queen who was raised by DYAD)

I feel like Cosima is, no pun intended, tailor made to be the geek wet dream.
She's quirky but bad-ass, she's super-smart but approachable, she smokes pot, she has an unusual name, and she's gay so HAWT. And she lives in the computer like other dream girls! Annnd she's sick! We must protect heeer!

And I say this as someone who actually likes Cosima, but I recognize her flaws.

Sarah's my personal fave, then Allison, then Helena, Cosima, Rachel. This obviously doesn't count Russian, suicide-cop or cancer-clone.

Cosima is my absolute least favorite, which is kinda surprising since I'm a chronically ill lesbian w/ a taste for science. She really is just an easy way for the show to spout off ridiculous science crap related to the clones, and I feel like a lot of people like her just because they like to pretend they're like her in that they're smart but also quirky and alternative!!!!!! barf.
She's getting better this season though, thank god.

I thought she was way too trusting of Delphine way too fast. And she put the other clones at risk by doing that. After all she left the information about Kira for DYAD to find and now everyone's after her.

I hate her ro/fauxmance with Delphine. She put everyone at risk because of it, so it really doesn't warm me up to her. I'm not desperate for cheesy lesbian scenes :U
