It's more of a Frank Miller Batman look, I think. His Batman had very short bat-ears.

Eh, I guess I just don't like the Miller look; the Affleck suit also reminds me of the look of one of the alternative costumes for Batman in Arkham City, one that I never used, possibly the Year One suit.

Interestingly, the Year One suit was based on Batman: Year One, by Frank Miller.

I'm also not a fan of the short ears, personally, but it IS technically "accurate" for a given version of Batman.

Given that Zack Snyder's directing it, I wouldn't be surprised if that were a deliberate choice. My only wish is that if we have to have Frank Miller Batman on the big-screen, we at least get Batfleck giving the "Goddamn Batman" speech.
