These aren't so much guilty pleasures as... songs I unironically love that others might scoff at, I guess? Aqua's already been mentioned. B*Witched - I still have one of their albums. (The actual confirmation that C'est la Vie was basically porn thing, I find hilarious. I used to dance around singing to that at ELEVEN.) Eiffel 65 - I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee). The Ketchup Song! The Macarena, Safety Dance, PonPonPon, Steps - 5 6 7 8 (my grade got taught to square-dance to this at my sixth grade camp). Unironic love for Caramelldansen, Nyan Cat, Hamsterdance, and other memes (like The Fox). Some of the older stuff I have, I guess? I mean, there's no shame in loving The Beatles or Abba (THERE IS NO SHAME IN LOVING ABBA, OKAY), but Neil Diamond or John Farnham might be a bit iffier...

There was a time when I couldn't stop listening to Caramelldansen but I'd plug my headphones in so my roommate wouldn't hear and just dance in my computer chair.

I'm listening to it right now! :D (Without headphones, whoo being home alone.)

I forgot to mention, a few years ago I danced to it so enthusiastically I threw my neck out.

What do you mean it was basically porn? And man, I loved B*Witched and Eiffel 65. Still do.

Oh, heh. The band recently (last year, IIRC?) confirmed that C'est la Vie IS about sex, and that those 'mildly suggestive' lines like, "Do you ever get lonely playing with your toys?", "I'll huff, I'll puff, I'll blow you away!", and "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" were about exactly what you'd think they were about.

Oh, thanks. Geez, it seems obvious now. Are they still together as a band?

Apparently they released an EP last month! But yeah, according to Wiki, they broke up in 2002, did a one-off reunion last year (which is when that interview when they confirmed that about C'est la Vie), and now they've done that EP. Which I must go look up now 8D

I must very hands on that EP! yes, I'm glad they seem to be releasing music again!
