The beginning of AOS wasn't the strongest, but I also don't feel it was nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. It had its issues, but by the finale the plot, cast, everything really, it all seemed to come together nicely. And the last couple episodes have been plain good imo, not even just for AOS; it was solid TV. You should get to catching up ASAP, I don't think you'll be disappointed! (And no, Sif/Lorelei didn't cross my mind, but... Sif/May definitely did. Those two could get up to some things. Also Sif was one of my favorite parts of this entire season; I adore her. Tahiti was a neat storyline, I like how it played out too, and the Cap tie-in episodes were wonderful. I hope they have some sort of tie-in with GOTG planned.)

Poor Cap, lol. I know comic Cap is a separate entity and I haven't read too many of the comics so I don't have much to say about him (Though than I def don't think he's a perfect person either), but movie!Cap is one of my favorite parts of the MCU. I love Evans as Steve; he's a likable, relatable guy. Peggy though... Yea, Peggy is awesome. I want to have Peggy's skills, bravery and resourcefulness. She's a dream. Her short film was beautiful and left me wanting more, so I hope the series follows in the same vein and gives us lots of Peggy being awesome and kicking ass.

I liked the first few eps but they felt more episodic to me than an ongoing story arc... which is what I prefer. NOW it's obvious where the story arc is, and I can see where they were setting pieces, but it still felt a little slow. I liked it enough to keep watching, but... well, I kept in mind Whedon shows tend to start out slowly in general.

*looks* Aha, it looks like the finale was last night, so, yes, I'll probably snag the partner-creature to marathon what we have left. :D

A tie-in for GOTG would be awesome. My silly partner was not impressed with the trailer. They thought it was too bizarre. I was like, "... it's a talking raccoon. With a rocket. HOW CAN YOU NOT?" (If it follows in the line of how most of the MCU movies have been, I expect to see it with my girlfriend and then drag my partner back to see it. LOL.)

I'm not a big comics reader (I've read some here and there but holy shit my books TBR list is bad enough...) so most of what I'm familiar with is either stuff from the MCU or what people have discussed here. I did not expect to like Cap, but I really adored him (and the whole Avengers team, really) and loved both movies. He was relatable in a way that I have never found Superman; he's down-to-earth and is a genuinely good guy without being obnoxiously goody-goody. I did not expect to like him but he's one of my favorites. (And Bucky. Oh Bucky... *biting nails for Cap3*)

The Peggy one-shot was awesome, and I can't wait to see what they do with a TV series. I am definitely in for the Peggy Kicking Ass Hour. :D

Hmm, I forgot how many episodes behind you are, but I'd say the last five or six are pretty on point. You can see the bigger picture and things start coming together; the MCU changes A LOT, too.

It was, yea! It was magnificent. I'm glad I'm caught up already.

Oh, man. The MCU has had aliens, gods, killer robots, all kinds of weird things, a talking raccoon fits right in! And Rocket is literally the thing I'm looking forward to most in that movie, lol. They've got me already. I like the weirdness and I like the humor in the trailer; one of the best things about Avengers was the constant laughs, so I'm hoping GOTG is as light-hearted as it looks. If it's as good as Avengers then I think you should see it as many times as possible with as many loved ones as you can! It'll be worth sharing.

Bucky! Everyone loves Bucky now, and I love that they do. Bucky has been one of my favorites since The First Avenger. I want Cap 3 more than anything else in the MCU right now. (Though I am getting awful pumped for GOTG, and Cap 3 is so far away...*sigh*)

Me too, man. Me too. Did you see the poster? It's stylish and cool. http://i2.cdnds.net/14/20/618x314/ustv-agent-carter-still.jpg
