Voting guidelines
So, if I understand correctly, the situation is that each IP can only vote once, And for this month only, you'll onle be able to choose one book for that one vote.

I understand there may be a work around for some people, dunno what's up with that, maybe if you have something funky with your IP address you can vote more than once? Dunno the techy shite, but there it is and I don't know how to change it. If this applies to you, would you kindly not abuse the your ability to mulit-vote, Keep it fun for everyone, even if that means you don't get to read your preference this time out, not going to be much of a book club if you only read stuff you know you want to read.

Happy Voting

Guys who haven't voted: I was won over by the description and bought The Golem and The Jinni to read no matter who won this month, and let me tell you: It is really, really good.

TY for the suggestion. I would babble about everything I'm loving so far, but I should probably save that.

I've finished Fingersmith. It was amazing. One of the best books I've read for years. Looking forward to discussing it. Thanks, whoever suggested it.

It was hard to decide what to vote for. I had to google some books.

I've read Shogun already and wasn't impressed by it. I'm happy enough with anything else.

What did you wind up voting for, if you don't mind my asking?

At Swim Two Birds. I think I nominated it? I read it about 10 years ago and I was planning on reading it again soon anyway.

It's very Irish so I was curious what people from other countries would make of it - would they be baffled, or charmed?

As I say, I'll be happy with anything. I'd actually prefer to read something new.
